In a joint effort to promote food education and empower local communities, the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Mauritius, in collaboration with the Sugar Industry Labour Welfare Fund and F.A.L.C.O.N (Food Awareness and Lifestyle Convergence), organized engaging and informative workshops. Held at the Bois Pignolet Community Center and Morcellement St Andre Khoyratty Community Center, these workshops aimed to raise awareness about food science, nutrition, and sustainable practices. With a total of 113 participants, these events proved to be instrumental in equipping individuals with the knowledge and skills to make informed food choices.
